Lael Hansen (b. August 31, 1997), is a Canadian singer-songwriter and former YouTuber. Lael’s career started in 2015 on YouTube, she did music reactions, workouts, vlogs and occasionally made music.

Lael’s music career started with her 2018 Bhad Bhabie diss track “Bye Bich,” an answer to the shots rapper Bhad Bhabie had fired at her. She later continued on releasing parodies and covers such as “Big Tay (Lil Tay Parody)” and “DOMINOS.” In September 2019, Lael’s channel hit 1 million subscribers.

After rapper Juice WRLD passed away due to a seizure from Percocets, Lael disappeared from all social media. She deleted all tweets, TikToks and Instagram posts. In January 2021, she premiered her debut single, “i’m all alone,” followed by “rip2me” in February, and “300 nights” in March. One year later, she announced her debut studio album, it didn’t know it was a butterfly, which was released on April 1, 2022.
