La Luna was a Canadian screamo band formed in 2009 by Vanessa Gloux (vocals) and Nicolas Field (guitar) in Calgary, Alberta Originally performing as Brain Fever, they were soon joined by Alex Kurth (bass) and Noah Michael (drums). The band played local shows alongside other Alberta bands such as Mahria and I Hate Sex. Three cassettes, a split 7" and vinyl 12" shortly followed alongside several tours of Canada, USA and UK with the likes of Lord Snow, Foxmoulder and Bonehouse. The band changed their name to La Luna in 2013 upon the re-release od their eponymous 12" and set to work writing what would be their final album. Following a relocation to Toronto, La Luna released Always Already in 2016 and dissolved the project shortly thereafter.
