Australian Guitarist, Songwriter and Producer, Kyran Daniel began his career performing internationally alongside Grammy Nominee Tommy Emmanuel AM, Michael Franti, and Japanese guitar legend Kotaro Oshio. His debut album ‘Per Se’ became a notable work in the acoustic guitar world, with composition ‘The Chase’ featuring on Sony SME Japan release ‘Guitar Paradise’.
Kyran attended the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston on full scholarship where he fast-tracked the contemporary writing and production syllabus, studying under the tutelage of Pat Pattison (John Mayer, Gillian Welch) and Jetro Da Silva (Whitney Houston, Jamie Foxx, Stevie Wonder).
Following his time at Berklee, Kyran focussed on the roles of songwriter, producer and musical director, collaborating with an impressive cohort of Australian artists including G Flip, Gretta Ray, and Kingswood. His diverse musical palette, superlative musicianship and production prowess saw him fast become one of Australia’s finest musical & production talents, and a go-to for artists and labels domestically and abroad, with releases included 4 songs on Gretta Ray’s ARIA Nominated Album ‘Begin To Look Around’ (EMI), Australian and European tours with legendary rock group Kingswood, and televised performances with pop sensation G Flip.
In 2022, Kyran re-introduced the role of solo-artist back to his repertoire, with sold-out Australian performances including the opening of ‘The Picasso Century’ at NGV International, and a triumphant return to European stages on a Summer tour of Italy including performances with former mentor Tommy Emmanuel. Expect a new chapter of solo and collaborative work incorporating global influences, cinematic soundscapes, and virtuosic guitar playing from the heart.
‘I knew at that time he would be an incredible force in music…he was always received with thunderous applause and standing ovations…’ – Tommy Emmanuel
