Born in Louisville, Ky, Kymrence Young has always had a passion for the arts. Music was a way for her to get through life. Bullied in middle school, she wrote songs, and even screenplays to focus on her career. At age 13, she moved to Los Angeles with her mother for her career. When she turned 15, she began writing songs for Movies and T.V. Shows, such as Lincoln Heights, and starred in the movie, ‘Lifted’. When asked what kind of music she creates, she says, “Art has no form, therefore no box. So I simply make music…” Kymrence is known for bold lyrics, along with a sweet edge. “There have been times I’ve been asked to define myself…the best way to put it is Soft Ghetto. How Aaliyah explained, ‘ street but sweet!”
