About Kyle Patrick

Kyle Patrick (b. 1986) is an indie singer-songwriter best known for being the second lead singer of power-pop group The Click Five.

Patrick grew up in Georgia but went to college in Massachusetts, at Berklee; while there, he befriended some fellow lovers of power-pop who formed The Click Five, signed to Atlantic Records, and in 2005 released their debut album, Welcome to Imrie House, which spawned the gold-selling top 15 hit single, “Just the Girl.” In 2007, the group’s lead vocalist, Eric Dill, departed, and Kyle Patrick joined the group as their new lead vocalist. The group released two more studio albums but neither matched their earlier successes; their final release, a charity single, came out in 2011, and since 2013 the group has been inactive.

In 2010, Patrick released his first solo recording, a six-song demo titled kp. Two years later, he released his eponymous debut studio EP, which featured the Olympics-themed “Go for Gold!” Patrick continues to perform live and record music, chronicling his time in the studio on social media.
