Kyle Bent (born August, 12, 1997) is an American rapper from the town of Randolph, Massachusetts. Bent was originally born in Jamaica where he resided until the age of two, before his parents decided to move to the United States.
In 2014, Bent released a music video called “Mind Control” which brought him his first hundred-thousand views on YouTube. The video was featured on MTV, On Demand, Music Choice, as well as other established music networks of the time. In early 2016, as Bent was attending college at Bridgewater State University, he released another music video called “Higher Power”, which was well-received on the site Reddit. The exposure from the site helped Bent’s video garner over three-hundred thousand views overnight. This led him to be signed by, Denver/LA-based label, “Made in the Shade Records” later that spring.
Since then, Kyle Bent has headlined countless venues and music festivals both within and outside his local region. He completed a U.S tour with American hip-hop artists, Hopsin, Joyner Lucas, and Token in late 2016. Then went on to headline his own East Coast tour the year following.
