Norwegian record producer Kygo teamed up with the late American singer-songwriter Whitney Houston for the track, “Higher Love” in June of 2019.

The track is actually a remix of a cover that Houston had released of Steve Winwood’s song of the same name. However, since Houston had never officially released the cover anywhere outside of Japan (on the deluxe edition of her third album I’m Your Baby Tonight), Kygo decided to remake the song, and thus give it widespread attention worldwide.
