KUROMI (クロミ) is a SANRIO character that was originally introduced alongside My Melody in 2005.

She is My Melody’s self proclaimed nemesis, as she is the “darker” half. While My Melody sports a pink bunny hood and is generally girly and sweet, KUROMI wears a black hood with a pink skull motif, cornered ears and a devil’s tail, and is usually more punky and tomboyish. However, despite her demeanor, she is still quite girly at heart and has a soft spot for cute boys.

Her birthday is on October 31st – Halloween. She is the leader of a biker gang known as KUROMI'S5 and a minion called Baku.

In 2021, the SANRIO character made her international singing debut with the song “Greedy Greedy” and her fanbase was announced as KUROMIS.
