Niles Hollowell-Dhar, better known by his stage name KSHMR, is an American EDM DJ, record producer and musician from Berkeley, California. He picked up the new alias in 2014 after previously being part of production duo The Cataracs with David “Campa” Benjamin Singer-Vine, known for their extensive work with Dev. He was also a known ghost producer at the time, credited on DVBBS and Borgeous‘ chart-topper “Tsunami”.
He debuted at the #23 spot on DJ Magazine’s Top 100 DJs of 2015 list, the highest debut of any new entry on the list that year. Charting singles of his include “Karate,” “Secrets” (with Tiesto and Vassy) and “Heaven.” In 2016, DJ Magazine named him the #12 DJ of the year.
