Krystina Alabado is an American actress and singer known for her work in Broadway musicals. At age 18, Krystina joined the national tour of ‘Spring Awakening’ as an ensemble member and an understudy for the leading roles of Wendla and Ilse. In 2009, she moved to New York City and performed in her first Broadway production as an ensemble member in ‘American Idiot’, and later went on to join the touring company as well. She performed in the national tour of ‘Evita’ before going on to play an ensemble role in the workshop production of ‘Lazarus’, based on the music of David Bowie, and performing alongside Broadway breakout star Sophia Anne Caruso.
Her two most notable projects are originating the role of Samantha Brown in The Mad Ones, and joining the Broadway cast of ‘Mean Girls’ as a replacement for the role of Gretchen Wieners.
