Kristofer Murray began his career as a rap artist under the guidance of multi-GRAMMY award winning producers Dre & Vidal (Usher, Chris Brown, Jill Scott). The Philadelphia native later realized he had the knack to write songs for other artists and switched his focus to songwriting (R&B, Pop, Rap) and in 2013 co-wrote “Burn Out” off of TGT’s album titled Three Kings . He later co-wrote “You Mean That Much To Me” off of Chrisette Michele’s album titled Better. Both albums were nominated for the Best R&B Album of the Year at the 2013 GRAMMYs. In 2016, he landed a placement called “Westside” on Ty Dolla $ign’s Free T.C. Deluxe album and “Bombs Away” on MTV Israel featured artist ADI, in 2017. In 2019, Kris landed two placements: one on Julian King’s Made In China album (“I Care) and one on Spade-O and Ab-Liva’s Glory album ("The Life”). His most recent placement came in 2020 on Spade-O’s EP Hall of Fame Flow Vol. 1 where he wrote the hook on “Highlights”.
In addition to those artists, Kristofer has also written & collaborated with and for artists such as Ingrid (signed to Beyonce), Sevyn Streeter, Trey Songz, Cassie, Raheem Devaughn, Keri Hilson, Sebastian Mikael and Estelle. He’s also collaborated with producers Rodney Jerkins, DJ Camper, Diddy & Bryan-Michael Cox to name a few.
In September 2014, Kristofer was signed to a deal with Kobalt Music Group by music vet Folayan Knight (The Clutch, Needlz).
