Kristen Barry is a singer/songwriter and guitarist born January 1970.
She began playing piano at five years old and aspired to be a classical pianist for years, but she stopped after the death of her teacher/mentor. At age 12 she began getting into rock music and even joined a band as the keyboardist when she was 15. When she was 19 she left the band and went solo.
Her debut album The Beginning, The Middle, Then End was released in 1996. The album was produced by The Rob Brothers and included Matt Chamberlain (Drums), Rick DeChurch (Guitar), and Chris Ballew (Bass) from the band The Presidents of the United States of America.
Her most notable work was her song “Ordinary Life” which was created for the 1999 film Cruel Intentions.
