Cordelia Vizcaino Leal, a.k.a. KORDELYA, is a Mexican American artist and songwriter who recently released her debut album “Mal Hecha” on March 13th, 2020. The album was spearheaded by her single “Terco” which has gained over 200K+ streams and was featured on numerous Spotify curated playlists like Fresh Finds: Latin, Editor’s Picks Mexico, and Academia Pop.

Her passion for unusual, percussive instruments and electronic production develops a vibrant fusion of exotic sounds and honest lyrics. Her album is a demonstration of just that as it combines an eclectic array of textures, ranging from dark trap leaning production to more light-hearted, synth-based sounds.

On August 2nd, 2019 KORDELYA opened up for Ximena Sariñana in her hometown of Monterrey, Mexico, and released her biggest single to date entitled “Consentido”, which she performed live nationally on Telemundo. Her latest single “s a l u d o s” has been very well received, being playlisted on popular Spotify playlists such as Vibras, Canción Del Día, and New Music Friday Mexico and was also featured as the cover artist on Tidal’s Sentimiento playlist.
