Kofi (born Carol Simms) is a British singer (born 1961 in Lambeth, London, England). She got her start as a member of the British trio, Brown Sugar with Caron Wheeler and Pauline Catlin. As a solo artist, she released her 1989 effort Black… With Sugar. She was also known for appearing on Soul II Soul’s single “Move Me No Mountain”, a cover by Love Unlimited.
