Klangstof’s name is half-Norwegian / half-dutch. Klang comes from rumklang, which is Norwegian for reverb. Stof (stylized as støv in Dutch) is Danish for dust. As noted by the singer, Koen van de Wardt, their band name is literally “echo dust”.
