Kitsune² (also known as Kitsune2 or Kitsune Squared) is an alias of Emma Essex known for creating video-game inspired chiptune music under Essex’s VULPvibe Records label, which later rebranded to LapFox Trax. Kitsune²’s most well-known works include Rainbow Tylenol and Rock My Emotions, both having been popularized in YTPMV memes appearing circa 2010.

The character, an anthropomorphic rat, was created in 2006 to appear with other characters and aliases of Emma Essex in the Mungyodance series of music games created by VULPvibe. Five albums and an EP were later released from 2007 to 2009, followed by another album in 2015. Kitsune² has continued to appear on several features and compilation albums with other aliases under the Lapfox and Halley Labs labels.
