About Kings Kaleidoscope Hymns

The Kings Kaleidoscope Hymns page is a distinct channel of Kings K’s music catalog filled with music meant to be sung by the church. While launching in July of 2025, the origins of the hymns channel are the same as the band’s itself with their first musical release Sin back in 2011 when Kings K was with Mars Hill Music. The short album was filled with musical reinterpretations of classic and modern hymns as well as contemporary poems.

However, the band really caught the Christian music scene’s attention with the 2012 EP Asaph’s Arrows—two modern hymns and two traditional. The same year saw Joy Has Dawned, a Christmas EP that featured one of the most beloved modern hymns “All Glory Be to Christ” set to the tune of “Auld Lang Syne.”

Over a decade since the last project, the band decided to return to their roots with Asaph’s Arrows II, which started a new outlet of creativity. According to a social media post, this was a move to help newcomers to Kings K distinguish what is original music and what is church music.
