KingChoppa, who also goes by his alter ego KingPoet860 is New Englands very own up and coming artist. Taking inspiration from the Soundcloud era of rap, his music is reminiscent of nostalgic artists like Juice WRLD, Weiland, Uzi, and even J Cole. His unique style of production and lyricism captures the soul and emotion of each song he puts out. Holding 2 albums, 2 singles, and an EP, his crude writing and music on his first studio album “Blast Off” is his claim to fame, and the beginning of whats to come for KingChoppa. A cacophonous and raw sound that combines elements of Trap, Hip-Hop, and even Pop, “Blast Off” was held to high critical acclaim. His sophomore album “Fuck The Haters” sounds more like the KingChoppa that we know and love. Focusing on his raw and emotional style of songwriting, “Fuck The Haters” is a project that combines the best of both worlds, his raw and emotional songwriting with a mix of modern production techniques.
