Born on December 14, 1998, Kim Ji-woong (김지웅), monymously known as Jiwoong (지웅), is a South Korean singer, actor, model, and member of the K-Pop boy group ZEROBASEONE.

Kim Jiwoong became a trainee at the age of 11. He was part of a dance team in school, so he became interested in performances. His parents were against him becoming a singer, but he worked hard and showed them that he was serious and passionate about his dream. He was a trainee for almost seven years and managed to debut as a member of INX in 2016 under the stage name Jinam (지남).

Unfortunately, members of INX got very bad treatment, so the group sued the agency, winning the case. And on November 30, 2017, Jiwoong announced through his Instagram Live that INX was officially disbanded.

During 2018, Jiwoong was a member of a pre-debut group named ATEEN under his new stage name, King (킹), and the same thing happened with him again. The agency of ATEEN was negligent and exploited them laboriously. So members of ATEEN reported what had happened to them to the police with the help of their parents. And ATEEN was silently disbanded in 2019.

Even after going through these cases, he still did not give up on his dream. Together with his new team, B.I.T., but still did not receive much support from the public. In 2020, he participated in the reality show “Burn Up 30”, where he won first place. And again, the program did not receive much interest.

In 2021, he started his new way as an actor with the web series “The Sweet Blood” and two more BL series next year, “Kissable Lips” and “Roommates of Poongduck 304,” as lead roles with Yoon Seobin. Released his first OST for the first time.

In December 2022, Jiwoong was noticed for participating in the survival program “Boys Planet.” He finally received the attention he deserved from audiences and the public. And in the final episode, he finally makes his debut again with the new boy group “ZEROBASEONE” under WAKEONE.
