Kíla are an Irish musical group, described variously as falling under the Celtic pop, Irish folk music, and world music genres.
The band was originally composed of the three Ó Snodaigh brothers (Rónán, Rossa, and Colm) and Eoin Dillon, formed in 1987 in South County Dublin’s Irish-language secondary school Coláiste Eoin. Since then, Kíla have expanded to include several other members (Dee Armstrong, Lance Hogan, and Brian Hogan), and have released upwards of seven studio albums. Rónán Ó Snodaigh, Colm Ó Snodaigh, and Eoin Dillon have had productive solo careers also.
