Kiko Rodriguez, was born in Tamboril, Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. A bachata lover since when was 10 years old, he felt that the music, in this case the bachata or music of the bittered, touched the heart of him, which motivated the youngster to practice with percussion instruments, although after that he was interested in the guitar, that later accompanied him in his songs.
