Kuro Newyen known better on SoundCloud as Kidsai, is a Vietnamese rapper, singer, songwriter based in Houston, Texas. Making music since 2017, both melodic hip-hop/rap and pop music have been a big influence on his sounds. He writes his music from a very honest and personal perspective, composing catchy melodies while bringing the excitement of his music to his audiences. Inspired by artists such as Rich Brian, Joji, Tyler, the Creator, Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, and others, his music connects with audiences from different cultures around the world, from the U.S.A. to Viet Nam. He self-released his first viral song GIAYPHUT, which has amassed over 188,000 streams on Soundcloud, 31,000 streams on Spotify, and more than 190,000 streams on YouTube.
