Obi Samuel Chibuisi (a.k.a Kid Marley), an upcoming Nigerian artist has been rapping since the age of ten, displaying exceptional freestyle skills and a remarkable ability to blend rapping and singing. Over the years, he has made significant progress, evolving from writing rhymes in high school to becoming one of the most promising up-and-comers in Nigerian Hip-Hop.
Born and raised in Lagos. He started his music career as a teenager and released his first official remix for Lil Wayne’s “Gossip” before co-founding the St. Oz Gang with other musicians. Over time, he transitioned from hardcore rap to experimenting with singing, ultimately adopting the name Kid Marley and developing a unique sound. He gained recognition for his music with the release of his first mixtape, “The Suburban Hippie,” in 2014, followed by his second EP, “Days B4 Denim,” in 2015.
In 2016, he partnered with producer and friend 3rty to create “The Grey Area,” which premiered on Tokyo Dawn Records. In addition to his music, Kid Marley is also establishing his own vintage apparel line, Marley Vintage.
