Khai Zhen is a music artist, producer based in Kuala Lumpur. From his love of Hip-Hop and pop culture, he picked up his interest working on ambiance-based, atmospheric Alternative Pop/R&B music to produce and experience music in a great fusion of different genres.

In the early 2020s, he collaborated (produced/engineered) with various local & international artists including SHN, TY:DEL, CLARY, yowha and more with singles featured on numerous Spotify & Apple Music Editorial Playlists. Khai Zhen isn’t a stranger in the Malaysian music scene as most of his music has made it into the main rotation of radios and climbing in charts including Malaysia’s #1 English Radio – Hitz FM, Lite FM and more. Not to mention Khai Zhen’s reputation and presence have been enhanced in his hometown Kuala Lumpur with his music featured in major media including JUICE MY, FreeMalaysiaToday, Music Press Asia, and more.

Khai Zhen has executive produced an EP for Malaysia’s uprising Mando R&B/Pop artist Hao You and released on May 2022 under Malaysia’s largest indie Hip-Hop label Ban Huat Sdn Bhd. Marking his entrance and versatility in penetrating the Mando/Chinese music scene.
