Marquis Devone Whittaker (born June 21, 1991), known professionally as KEY!, is an American recording artist from Atlanta, Georgia.
KEY! has been making waves in the music scene for some time, being one of the visionary artists responsible for building Atlanta’s own answer to hip-hop super-groups, Two-9. He is associated with artists like A$AP Mob, Matt Ox, Mike Will Made-It, and Sonny Digital, and was instrumental in the come up of rappers like Playboi Carti and 21 Savage.
However, in spite of his extensive discography, KEY! was able to mostly fly under the mainstream radar, finding his greatest success with his 2018 album with producer Kenny Beats, 777. The album was followed by a deluxe version later that same year.
In 2019, KEY! released the 8-track album SO EMOTIONAL, followed by 2020’s I Love You Say It Back, and 2021’s The Alpha Jerk, a collaboration with New York producer Tony Seltzer.
