Kevin Shegog

Kevin Shegog is a 23-year-old, inspiring rapper, from Memphis TN. Shegog’s name ‘Shiggz’ originated from a childhood nickname. Shiggz was first musically influenced at an early age by several artists. His first inspiration was his Uncle Sam. A particular moment Shiggz tends to
reflect on during his childhood was how his uncle spoke to his community through music.
He realized how music provided a vessel for not only the youth but also for adults. Amongst his
Uncle introducing him to music at an early age, Shiggz was later inspired by well-known global
artists. Those artists include but were not limited to, Nelly, 50 cent, Kevin Gates, and T.I. Shiggz
music is unique due to his ability to speak from within. He tends to try new ways to reach his
fans creatively while aligning them with his personality.
