Kevin Colin Martin

Kevin Colin Martin, born April 9, 1969, is the lead vocalist of the post-grunge rock group, Candlebox. He has also provided vocals for the groups The Gracious Few, and The Hiwatts.

Martin was born and raised in Elgin, Illinois in the United States, and formed Candlebox in 1990, gaining fame from their 1993 single “Far Behind,” which was about a couple of his friends who passed away from a heroin overdose.

The Hiwatts was a supergroup formed with the previous members of the grunge-rock band, Live, Chad Taylor, Patrick Dahlheimer, and Chad Gracey.
