About Ketchy the Great

Jameon Dexter Davis (04/18/94—02/15/21), known professionally as Ketchy the Great, was a rapper from Los Angeles, California. Ketchy was an integral member of the LA rap group the Stinc Team and frequently collaborated with Stinc Team members Drakeo the Ruler and Ralfy the Plug. Ketchy also released a number of solo projects and a myriad of singles from 2017 to 2021. He was perhaps most well-known for his show-stealing chorus on Shoreline Mafia’s 2017 hit “Spaceship.”

After serving nearly 3 years in L.A. county jail for gang-enhanced charges relating to burglary, Ketchy was released in October of 2020. On February 15, 2021, Ketchy was killed in a car accident at the age of 26. Drakeo, Ron-Ron The Producer, and countless other mainstays of the LA rap scene have mourned this tragic loss.
