Kent Loon was born in Bogota, Colombia in 1996 to a Chinese father and a Colombian mother, fleeing to America with his mother at a young age to escape threats from Colombian drug cartels. Loon grew up in St. Petersburg, South Florida.
At Pinellas Park High School, Loon met Chester Watson, Kanisono (Shane Phadraig) and Nick Preradovic, and what was to become Nü Age began.
