Kenny Greene was an American singer-songwriter and the lead singer of the R&B trio Intro.
Greene wrote for Mary J. Blige (“Reminisce,” “Love No Limit,” and “My Love” off of What’s the 411?), Mariah Carey, Jeff Redd (“You Called And Told Me”) and many others. In a 1993 Video Soul interview, he said that although his Intro bandmates shared writing talents and passions, he was able to compose lyrics the fastest of the three (completing “Love No Limit” within an hour).
In 2001, Kenny Greene passed away at the early age of 32 due to complications with AIDS.
