About Kellie Pickler

Kellie Dawn Pickler was born to Cynthia Morton & Clyde “Bo” Raymond Pickler Jr. on June 28, 1986 in Albermarle, North Carolina. Her mother left when she was only two years old, then returned and took custody of Kellie for two years. The court returned her to her grandparents (Faye & Clyde Raymond Pickler, Sr.) when she was 12 and they raised her because her father was in and out of jail. Kellie attended North Stanley High School in New London, NC, where she was a cheerleader and homecoming queen, and graduated in 2004. She was an American Idol contestant and made the Top 6. She married Kyle Jacobs on January 1, 2011 on a private island in the Caribbean. The 5'1" singer/songwriter does not play an instrument because she can’t read music. She is known for “I Wonder” and “Best Days of Your Life”.
