Keisha Sounds

Keisha Sounds is a multi-talented emerging artist who takes up various roles as a songwriter, singer, and producer of her songs. She owns her flourishing record label – Acewall Entertainment that specializes in both music and film production. Keisha grinds her efforts towards a mix of sounds; Classic, R&B, Dub, Electro Pop, and many more integrated to make a distinctive sound that the audience loves. Surpassing all musical restrictions, she likes to blend everything that shows versatility in her work.

Keisha has been interested in music since the early age of 12; most of this interest is dedicated to her father, who was a songwriter and a musician himself. He toured with the legendary Bob Marley and was the organ player on a Johnny Nash album. She would help him write songs and be the singer for his references for artists. She released the first song in 2016, ‘Rock 2night’, which holds a special place for her because it was a homage to Michael Jackson’s ‘Rock with you’. It was a fun project to work towards, and you can hear the slight head nod to the King of Pop.

She describes her music as slick, clean, and clear as she creates a ‘vibe.’ Her sound isn’t the same in terms of instrumentation, yet her vocals and arrangements make it all cohesively come together and make sense.

Every artist goes through a creative process, Keisha goes through a standard procedure of connecting with the content area. Before she sits down to write, she needs to feel it inside her for the creative juices to flow. She allows her emotions and mind to take action into different experiences. She can write using her phone, but there’s something about a pen and paper that works better for her.

The artist sets to achieve actualization through a process of endless patience and growth. Her come-up is yet to be written as she’s going through the struggle that she will look back on one day.

Keisha was born into music because of her father’s immense talent and interest in music. Her parents inspired her to step into the world of music; from then on, she penned down her pain, joy, and hope through lyrical notes.

Keisha is endlessly working towards a new EP set to release in 2022. You’re going to see her in a supporting role in an upcoming movie, ‘Hawks Ridge,’ which will make its debut in the film festival circuit and as a cartoon character in two forthcoming animations. The artist is set to do wonders with her all arounder approach towards her passion for art.
