Katie Crutchfield

Katie Crutchfield (born January 4, 1989 in Birmingham, Alabama) is an American singer-songwriter. She serves as the lead vocalist, primary songwriter and guitarist of the alternative rock band Waxahatchee.

Her twin sister, Allison Crutchfield, is also a musician and the two formed together different bands: The Ackleys, P.S. Eliot, and Bad Banana. Katie was also a member of the duo Great Thunder, alongside Keith Spencer.
