Kasra Vaseghi is an Iranian producer, DJ and radio host on NTS. His taste, as a selector, is versatile and leftfield, blending old school rave with early trance via middle eastern grooves, new beat, acid house and beyond.

As a producer, Kasra V has adopted a similar mentality: combining his Iranian roots with a blend of early electronic music from the UK and Belgium. 2018 saw Vaseghi collaborate with Dopplereffekt on the “Akasa EP”, as well as doing the 100th show for his NTS residency.

Over the next year, he will release the first in his much anticipated re-issue compilation series of Iranian records alongside original dance material, as he continues to showcase new and old cutting edge music on his bi-weekly radio show.
