Kang Hyewon is a South Korean actress and singer, born on July 5, 1999, in Yangsan, South Korea. She gained fame as a member of the South Korean-Japanese girl group IZ*ONE, The group was formed on competition show Produce 48 The group debuted in October 2018 with the song “La Vie en Rose” and disbanded in April 2021 after their contract ended.
Following IZ*ONE’s disbandment, Kang Hyewon pursued solo activities, including acting and music. She made her acting debut in the web drama Best Mistake 3 and released a special winter album titled W in December 2021. She has also appeared in various TV shows and web dramas, such as Seasons of Blossom and Boyhood, which contributed to her rising popularity.
