Kalie Shorr (born July 11th, 1994) is a country/rock singer-songwriter currently living in Nashville, Tennessee. She was born in Portland, Maine, and is a member of Song Suffragettes, a feminist group of singer-songwriters dedicated to standing against gender-disparity in music.
Shorr rose to prominence with her second single, “Fight Like a Girl”, co-written with two other members of the Song Suffragettes, which received airplay on Sirius XM The Highway. Following the release of her first official EP, The Y2K Mixtape, she signed a publishing deal with the company Writerslist.
Her debut album, Open Book, was released on September 27 2019, and gained traction for its raw honesty and dark humor, being named the seventh best album of 2019 by the New York Times.
