Totakeke “K.K.” Slider, or K.K., is a dog and a fictional musician who has appeared in all the Nintendo Animal Crossing series games to date.

K.K. songs consist of animalese singing instead of English/or Japanese singing, this allows for K.K.’s music to be heard by everyone and also have lyrics up to the listener to interpret.

There are 55 K.K. songs in the original Animal Crossing, 70 in Wild World, 75 in City Folk, 91 in New Leaf and 95 in New Horizons for a total of 95 songs.

In Animal Crossing, he says his name is Totakeke, but prefers the nickname K.K. Slider. He has not mentioned his formal moniker in subsequent English releases, however.
