Justin has come a long way since his days rapping with friends in high school cafeterias. His movement began to rise in 2015 when he launched his Instagram (@JUSTUSraps), posting fifteen second freestyle videos and covers of popular songs. He immediately stood out from the crowd of viral rappers, increasing his number of followers, most notably NBA star and hip-hop aficionado Damian Lilliard. Most importantly, however, his digital success carried over into his live performances, as he became a mainstay on the college touring scene, where his intense, high energy performances cemented his reputation as an artist to be taken seriously.
Justin made his official debut in 2018 with the EP ‘20Gr8teen.’ It was an immediate hit with fans and critics alike, with Urban Flaiire praising it as capturing “the epitome of hustle.” From there, Justin would only scale his momentum, releasing a new song every week for the entire year of 2019. Each track displayed a new side of the resourceful artist and deepened his already strong connection with his fanbase. As a result, Justin broke the million mark with his popular song “Fed Up” and now his stock has never been higher. From appearing on Sway in the morning, to opening for artists such as Meek Mill and Lil Yachty, each milestone is a stepping stone.
His lyrics are meaningful and the stories he tells are impactful. His latest album “Test of Time” further proves Justin is poised to take his rightful place in the upper echelon of hip-hop.
