Junior Varsity is an LA-based duo formed by Greg Varteresian and his best friend Zach Michel.

The journey begins in March of 2019 when Greg posts a photo of him followed by the announcement that something new was coming on his public account.

On August 28 of the same year Greg publishes a video unveiling the new name of the project: Junior Varsity.

The duo starts playing in a three night show series called “A F$*KING WEEKEND”, printing merch and gaining traction while having no music out.

They finally drop their debut single, “Cold Blood”, in the april of 2021, after two years of publishing only small snippets on their Instagram.
