Jung Chaeyeon is a member of K-Pop girlgroup DIA, debuting with the group in 2016.

Pre-debut, she was known for her participation in Korean TV survival show “Produce 101”. Overall, she ranked seventh – resultingly debuting in temporary 11-member Girl Group I.O.I in March 2016, and disbanding on January 2017. During this time, Chae Yeon occupied the role of Sub-Vocalist in the group.
