Javorian Duvron Grimes (known as JPlatinum) is a Producer, Graphic Designer, Engineer & Artist from Midland, TX.

He got his name “JPlatinum” from his aunt. He used to always ask for jewelry on birthdays and Christmas and it was just a nickname till he actually claimed it in 2010.

Being so infatuated with music, he started rapping with his older brother and his high school friends at the age of 6. In the 4th grade, Plat started djing on his Mother’s computer in 2007. He later transitioned into making beats in 2009 into designing his own artwork and engineering his own songs.

What inspired him to do something with his life was his Uncle Bubba, known as Daniel “Bubba” Franks who played for Green Bay Packers & New York Jets before retiring in 2008.
