Joy Electric is the electronica pet project of Ronnie Martin, and briefly Jeff Cloud. Martin made Electronic and Synthpop music under the moniker after the disbandment of Dance House Children, his band with brother Jason Martin, now of Starflyer 59.

Joy Electric is part of the Tooth & Nail Records roster and was active from the 1990s to the 2000s.

Today, Ronnie Martin is a pastor at Substance Church in Ohio and has since released an album, From The Womb of the Morning in 2021.
