Joshua, born on December 30, 1995, as 홍지수 (Hong Ji Su) in California, United State of America. He is an American-Korean singer, actor, and songwriter. He is also a member of the South Korean boy band SEVENTEEN and its sub-unit Vocal Unit. Currently, he is signed with Pledis Entertainment with SEVENTEEN.

While he was 17, he was scouted at the Korean Town Market Festival in Los Angeles and went to Seoul to be in a short-term dance and singing course for about one month. After that, he officially became a trainee of Pledis Entertainment. He then debuted as a member of SEVENTEEN on May 26, 2015.

In 2020, Joshua was featured on “17 (remix)” by Pink Sweat$ alongside fellow SEVENTEEN member, DK.
