Josh Rouse (born March 9, 1972) is a singer-songwriter best known for his folk-pop songs. Throughout his childhood he moved around from state to state with his parents never staying in one place long enough to find a true home. After moving around from place to place, he moved to Nashville, with the intention of attending college and getting a degree. Shortly, after beginning college, however, he dropped out and met musicians from around the area and began his recording career. In 1998, he released his debut album Dressed Up Like Nebraska under the Rykodisc sub-label Slow River. Since the release of his debut album, Rouse has gone on to release ten more studio albums under various record labels. He currently resides in València, Spain where he moved to be with his wife Paz Suay.
