About Josephine XV

Josephine XV is the pseudonym that voice actress Bryna Raeburn used to record the song “I’m Happy They Took You Away, Ha-Haaa!”, an answer song to Napoleon XIV’s 1966 hit song “They’re Coming to Take Me Away, Ha-Haaa!”. Her version of the song appears as the closing track on Napoleon XIV’s sole album of the same name.

The name Josephine XV is derived from Joséphine de Beauharnais, the spouse of French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte (who inspired Jerry Samuels' own pseudonym, Napoleon XIV).
