With his reputation growing quickly within his hometown, Melbourne MC Jordan Dennis is an artist who’ll soon find fans much further afield.
The young talent first made a name for himself as the front-man for Billy Davis, whose debut album, A Family Portrait, saw support around the globe and had them appearing alongside the likes of Anderson Paak and NoName. His precise flows and energetic live performances have gone from strength-to-strength, with his debut solo single, ‘Crumbs’ steadily crept to over 3 million combined streams.
To date Jordan has featured on tracks by Poloshirt, Billy Davis while appearing on Goldlink’s Triple J Like A Version. He’s supported the likes of 360, Baker Boy, Winston Surfshirt, Mr Carmack, TOKiMONSTA and more.
For an artist who carries themselves with such confidence, most would be surprised to hear music (at least outwardly) is a pursuit that only recently found its way into Jordan’s repertoire. Having grown up around a music family, he would share freestyles and ideas exclusively with his close confidants. This was the extent of music for him until one of his cousins shared the news with the Billy Davis crew, who quickly started including him in their recording sessions and performances. Now nurtured among a family of peers, his abilities have increased rapidly – with a run of new music appearing quickly on the horizon.
