On the way to his studio, armed with a dictaphone, Jonasu records all of his musical ideas as he is cycling through the streets of Amsterdam. Inspired by the sights, the sounds, and of course the people; his melodies make their way from the beautiful canals, to the tracks in his vintage studio.

As he peddles past, Jonasu creates imaginary lives for the people in his path. It is those imaginary lives that you hear about in his songs. Just as he weaves the cobbled streets, he weaves beautiful story telling with his energetic and intricate rhythmical touch to create magic.
Rhythm has always been a fascination of Jonasu, from banging tin pots in the kitchen at 5 years old, to studying drums at the prestigious Amsterdam Conservatory – his talent has taken him all over the world, across Europe, the USA and Asia, and wherever he went what made him happiest, was to make people dance.

Dance music became a passion for Jonasu and after collaborating with hit makers such as David Benjamin, Bright Sparks and London Future to name a few, it is now time for him to release his original music to the world. Get ready to dance, or of course cycle, to the freshest sounds of 2018.
