Jonathan Jacob Walker, better known as Jon Walker, is a Chicagoan musician best known for being the former bassist of Las Vegas pop-rock band Panic! at the Disco before his departure in 2009. Prior to being in Panic!, Walker was briefly in a Chicago-based band called 504 Plan.
After leaving Panic! at the Disco, he went on to form the short lived retro-rock band The Young Veins with Panic!’s former songwriter, guitarist, and backup vocalist Ryan Ross. Since then, Jon has gone on to release his own folk-inspired solo music through his Bandcamp page and iTunes, the first full-length release being 2011’s New Songs.
