Jon Doe blend understated indie rock with funky grooves and melodic vocals. By crafting dank arrangements that draw attention to each instrument, they highlight the importance of the individual voice. With their diverse, yet structured songwriting, they create a lively sound that is equally empowering and melancholic. All members already being active musicians before Jon Doe’s formation in 2016, the group kicked off their first appearances with quite a bit of experience under their belt. Completed by bassist Erik Gilberg in 2019, the group’s different musical backgrounds and their long journey towards finding their own style, are finally coming together to a sound they can call their own.
