John Foxx (born Dennis Leigh, 1947) is an English musician, graphic designer, and photographer best known for his work in electronic music, both as a solo artist and as the original lead singer of Ultravox.
Helping to solidify the popularity of electronic music in the 1980s, he has also recorded numerous ambient albums and has occasionally worked as a professor of art, receiving an honorary PhD from Lancanshire’s Edge Hill University in 2014.
